EMC is commencing a certified course aimed at NQF level 5 qualification. This shall be comprised of 3 quarters of training (9 months in total), each with a workshop and several online lectures and supporting lecture material with testing. We are being proactive in terms of this non-clinical part of our Learning Portfolio curriculum.
You are cordially invited to the first Practice Manger Workshop on 28 October 2023 starting at 08h30 – 12h30, done in conjunction with Henley Business School and key industry stakeholders. The workshop agenda will be as follows.

Introduction to Practice Manager Course
We are aiming to provide a certified course so that you and other practice managers can be empowered with key learning outcomes. We are aiming for a path for practice managers with the overall planning for a National Qualification Framework (NQF) qualification of level 5. This is a national structure used by South Africa to arrange the levels of learning achievements a person obtains under the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
The course shall cover many aspects including practice and compliance governance in a regulatory environment, effective patient communication, embracing innovation and technology, adapting to change, fostering a patient centric approach and above all embracing Your Role as a Healthcare Practice Manager as you are the driving force behind positive change in healthcare.
The course equips practice managers with the knowledge necessary to establish and sustain a thriving medical practice.
